About the Fund

The Argyle Community Fund is a permanent endowment created to enhance and improve the quality of life in the Argyle area. Each year a portion of the Fund’s earnings are returned to the community in the form of grants.

The ACF is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.

About our Grants

Once per year the advisory board awards grants to non-profit organizations, the local school district, and/or local government agencies who provide charitable programs or projects serving the Argyle community. Grants are made to support education, youth, the elderly, health care, historic preservation, the arts and the environment and are awarded in November.

Recent Grant Awards

  • Friends of the Argyle Public Library – tables and chairs for library, blackout shades for community room
  • Historic Argyle, Inc – Saxton roof replacement
  • Driftless Reading Academy – furnishings and teaching materials
  • Argyle Public Library – dolly for program room chairs
