JANESVILLE, WI. – The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin (CFSW) announces the recent hiring of Sarah Lee as a Donor Service Representative. Lee, of Janesville, will assist donors, by helping them create charitable funds to support the causes of their choice; non-profit organizations and groups in the creation of funds solely for the support of their organization; and students by serving as a scholarship resource for both high school graduates and older students. Lee will also serve as the support to local Community Funds and their advisory boards in Rock and Walworth Counties.
While much of her experience is in orchestral performance, Lee has created and directed multiple educational outreach programs as a part of the orchestras and music organizations she has performed with, such as the Whiz Kids Music Program out of the University of Cincinnati/College-Conservatory of Music, and the Long-Term Residency Program with the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bassoon Performance from Ball State University, and a Master’s of Music and Artist Diploma in Bassoon Performance from the University of Cincinnati/College-Conservatory of Music.
“I find great meaning in bringing my love for music into underserved communities and enriching a city with real change through music;” says Lee. “This same desire to create real impact for good has made me excited to be a part of the CFSW team; this work is invaluable, and I am honored to get a chance to be a part of it.”
