Scholarship Application Process

Listed below are all scholarships available to Beloit Memorial High School students, sorted by application type.

Most scholarship funds have specific eligibility requirements established by the donor, such as enrollment at a particular high school or specialization in a particular field of study. Also, most scholarship funds base selection on financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, volunteer/community service, or other talents.

Sonya Sauer Scholarship

Available to students from: Beloit Memorial High School, Janesville Craig High School, Janesville Parker High School, Milton High School
Eligibility: For students who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school on a full-time basis. Must have a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Preference may be given for students pursuing a career in the field of elementary education and/or religious studies. Preference may given for financial need but is not a restriction.

Albrecht Memorial Scholarship

Available to students from: Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit Turner High School, Janesville Craig High School, Janesville Parker High School, Parkview High School
Eligibility: Established to assist Rock County residents with disabilities pursue post high school education at UW-Whitewater at Rock County. Proof of qualification as an individual with a disability is required. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Knipp-Poulter Fund

Available to students from: Beloit Memorial High School, Janesville Craig High School, Janesville Parker High School
Eligibility: Student must demonstrate leadership qualities and have participated in high school athletics.

Lars Christianson Scholarship

Available to students from: Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit Turner High School, Janesville Craig High School, Janesville Parker High School, Milton High School, Parkview High School
Eligibility: For students who plan to attend UW-Whitewater at Rock County. Must have minimum GPA of 3.0.

Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church Scholarship

Available to students from: Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit Turner High School, Clinton High School, Edgerton High School, Evansville High School, Janesville Craig High School, Janesville Parker High School, Milton High School, Parkview High School
Eligibility: For current and past high school graduates. Must be an active member of the Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church and have demonstrated Christian values through church involvement and community service. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

Ronald J. Jelinek Memorial Fund for Welding Education

Available to students from: Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit Turner High School, Clinton High School, Edgerton High School, Evansville High School, Janesville Charter Schools, Janesville Craig High School, Janesville Parker High School, Milton High School, Parkview High School
Eligibility: For students or adults wanting to learn or improve welding skills. Application is open to anyone living in Rock County. Scholarships will be given for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and/or equipment required for courses at the educational institution.
