Argall Endowment established for Mineral Point

Family pledge $10,000 to establish Larry and Mary Faith Argall Family Community Endowment

Larry and Mary Faith Argall recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary and their 85th birthdays. Both were born and raised in the Mineral Point area and graduated from Mineral Point High School. All nine of their children also graduated from Mineral Point High School. Their children (pictured) include: Lori Pittz (Tony) and Scott (Jen) of Mineral Point, Beth Hildreth (Mike) of Byron, Ill., Steve (Carolyn) of Paoli, Todd (Mary) of New Glarus, Brad of Deforest, Neil (Traci) of Plymouth, Kelly Haried (Steve) of McFarland, and Sue Winter of Janesville. They are blessed with 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren spread throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.

Both Larry and Mary Faith are known for the generous giving of their time and talents to many community organizations including Hodan Community Services, Mineral Point Public Library, Atrium Post Acute Care, MP Community Blood Drive, SUN/Meals on Wheels, St. Mary’s & St. Paul’s Parish, MP Community Chest, and the list goes on! They are avid supporters of Mineral Point athletics and continue to be seen at their great-grandchildren’s events!

The Argalls and their children decided this past Christmas to forego the exchange of Christmas presents and instead to give back to the community. Together this family has pledged $10,000 to establish the Larry and Mary Faith Argall Family Community Endowment of the Mineral Point Community Foundation. This endowment provides a way for family and friends to invest in the community and to honor the legacy of the Argall family forever, for Mineral Point.
