The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin (CFSW) welcomes Deedra Williams to its team as Donor Services Representative for Rock and Walworth counties. Williams, of Edgerton, will assist donors by helping them create charitable funds to support the causes they care most about; non-profit organizations and groups in the creation of funds solely for organizational programming that meets community needs; and students by serving as a scholarship resource for both high school graduates and older students. In addition, Williams will assist Community Fund and Excellence in Education Fund advisory boards in promoting their funds within their local communities.
Williams’ experience with nonprofits in Rock County and surrounding counties includes serving as a Prevention Specialist for Youth 2 Youth 4 Change in Rock County, working at Consumer Credit Counseling of Southern Wisconsin, and providing outreach to multiple area organizations/programs. Having worked at CFSW years ago, Williams is familiar with Foundation practices and operations, and brings broad experience to her role.
