Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin (CFSW) announces the recent hiring of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Lori Melby, of Montfort, Wisconsin. Lori will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining and monitoring the Foundation’s financial, accounting and investment procedures. In addition, Melby will manage the employee benefit systems. Melby will focus on supporting CFSW’s donor stewardship, manage the administration of accounting policies and procedures, coordinate annual budget, oversee the processing of all contributions, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all aspects of operations.
With more than 35 years in the financial industry, Melby most recently served as the Budget Planner at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and as the Fiscal Specialist at Upland Hills Health, Inc., Dodgeville, WI.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Platteville, WI.
