The Belmont Excellence in Education (EIE) Fund is an endowment fund that provides private resources for the support of the Belmont Community School District.
Grants from the Belmont EIE Fund to the Belmont Community School District will support educational programming outside of the boundaries of the school district budget. The Fund will provide support for programming such as field trips and technology improvements and will subsidize state cutbacks to the local district. The Fund was established in 2013 with donations from community members.
The Belmont EIE Fund is led by an advisory board of Belmont citizens operating independently of the school district. The advisory board of the Belmont EIE also serves as the advisory board to the Belmont Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to graduating seniors of Belmont High School. The advisory board leads all fundraising efforts and will determine the annual grant and scholarship awards.

Gifts to Excellence in Education funds are an investment in quality education for today’s students and future generations. Private resources allow for educational programming not typically funded by tax dollars.
Your gift can be a lasting and meaningful way of recognizing a special person or event in the life of your family, organization or business, or as a statement that you value education today and into the future. Donations to any EIE Fund are welcome at any time of the year. All gifts are tax deductible.
The Fund is advised by a committee of community volunteers who serve independently of the school district. The advisory board initiates fundraising activities and determines annual grant awards:
