The Evansville Fund wants to introduce you to its current Advisory Board Members with a new feature, “Get to Know Us…” Advisory Board Members of our Community Funds and EIE Funds are community volunteers who give their time to the Fund in support of their local communities. Members help raise funds and review grant applications for programs and projects that benefit all of Evansville. We are grateful for their help!
Meet Josh Tregoning
What made you decide to live in Evansville and how many years have you lived here?
We have lived in Evansville for 25 years. Andrea and I chose Evansville since it was equal distance for each of us to work.
What made you decide to serve as a board member for the Evansville Fund?
Evansville has been a great place to live and a great place to raise a family. This was an additional opportunity for me to give back.
What is your favorite part about being on the Evansville Fund Board and how many years have you been serving on the Board?
I just completed my first year. The Chocolate Extravaganza without a doubt is my favorite part, whether it was the full blown event in 2020, or the scaled back virtual version in 2021.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Family, Work, Chef.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Playing with my dogs – Hanging with family – Cooking.
