Get to Know the Evansville Fund Advisory Board

The Evansville Fund wants to introduce you to its current Advisory Board Members with a new feature, “Get to Know Us…” Advisory Board Members of our Community Funds and EIE Funds are community volunteers who give their time to the Fund in support of their local communities. Members help raise funds and review grant applications for programs and projects that benefit all of Evansville. We are grateful for their help!

Born and raised in Evansville!

What made you decide to serve as a board member for the Evansville Fund?
When the opportunity was presented to give back to the community that shaped me, I couldn’t pass it up. It’s also very rewarding to be a part of, and support, an organization that works so hard to better the future of Evansville.

What is your favorite part about being on the Evansville Fund Board and how many years have you been serving on the Board?
New member, but my favorite part is seeing these grants getting used to better the community, and more specifically the youth of Evansville.

What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Kind, Caring, Compassionate.

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
It’s likely that you’d find me standing around a grill with Any outdoor activities- boating, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

What’s your favorite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
